Terms of use

Updated 17 October 2026.

These are the rules for using Aheadso. Using it means you agree to them.

Who can use it

  • You must be 13 or older to make an account. If you're under 18, use it with a parent's or guardian's permission.
  • Anyone can join a game with its code, without an account.

Your sets are yours

  • You keep the rights to what you write. You give us permission to store it, copy it, and show it, so the app can do its job: show your set to the people with its link, put it in games and study modes, and export it when someone asks.
  • Only add what you have the right to share: your own notes, your group's, or material that's free to use. See Copyright.
  • Anyone with a set's edit link can change it. Share it only with people you trust. We're not responsible for what someone you shared it with does to it; version history and Recently deleted can bring things back.

Studying from your books

Make cards from your textbook, slides, lectures and readings: that's what sets are for. Put things in your own words, and quote a definition, a rule or a line where you need it.

Not allowed

  • Harassing anyone, hate, or slurs, in names, sets or comments.
  • Other people's private details.
  • Real test or exam answers, test banks, or a teacher's exam shared without permission.
  • Copying whole pages or chapters of a textbook, course materials or anyone else's work, word for word, without the right to.
  • Spam, or pretending to be someone else.
  • Trying to guess links or game codes, get around the limits, or overload the service.
  • Anything against the law.

We can hide a set, remove a name from a game, or close an account that breaks these rules, and we close the accounts of people who keep posting others' work.

Not advice

Sets are written by people and can be wrong. Nothing here is legal, medical or academic advice. Check what matters against your course and your sources.

No AI in what you study

Aheadso doesn't use AI to write, reword or change cards. It can't tell where someone's words came from, so check cards against your course. See our promise.

A free beta, as it is

Aheadso is free and still being built. It comes as it is, with no promise that it's always up or free of mistakes, and things can be lost: download your sets from their menu to keep a copy. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes, and a change that matters will be pointed out in the app.

Who runs it
